Rev. David Brown and his wife Julie, a nurse, minister to the thousands of economic refugees flooding out of sub-Saharan Africa trying to get to Europe. Ghana
The Baptist Medical Center has served northern Ghana for 50 years. They have traditionally received a significant amount of their support from the Southern Baptist Convention, but this support has been steadily declining. Numerous individuals through the George Faile Foundation also support their efforts to provide quality medical care to low income populations free from the favortism and outright bribery needed to obtain care in other hospitals in the region.
