What is ChangeOneLife?
ChangeOneLife, Inc. (COL) is a web-based, non-profit organization working in developing
countries to help people with critical health needs but few resources know the miracle of
good health. COL is motivated by Christian principles but is non-denominational and
does not seek to promote any religious doctrine.
How can I make a difference?
Life changing medical procedures in developing parts of the world often cost less than
$200. Your small personal sacrifice can make a huge difference in the life of someone
in medical need who probably makes about that much in a year.
How to contact COL?
If you want to learn more about how to help us grow this medical ministry, please contact Mike Griffin via email at mike@changeonelife.org or via US Mail at
1063 Brush Arbor Circle, McDonough, GA 30252.
How do I give?
Simply review the Profiles section of our
website to select a person you would like to help. By
clicking on the "ChangeOneLife" line in the person's
profile, you will be taken to a secure page where you
can indicate the amount you would like to contribute
and the method of payment.
What kinds of health needs does ChangeOneLife help with?
COL helps people with a range of health problems from eye cataracts to providing
prostheses for missing limbs. Some people require immediate surgery; others need
a course of drug therapy. You will be able to choose whose life you want to impact
and in what way through the Profile section of the website.
How much of my donation actually ends up benefiting those actually in need?
COL is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on volunteers. We use the Internet
to connect medical providers, financial resources and people in need. More than 90%
of every dollar donated goes to provide medical needs and not administrative overhead.
How are Partner Medical Institutions selected?
COL only works with non-profit medical institutions in Africa. Most are religiously
affiliated and all have a long track record of providing cost-effective health care. COL
audits the use of all funds to make sure that donations received provide the health
care that is promised.
